The atmosphere was relaxing and the rooms were spotless. From check-in through checkout, everything ran smoothly and was well organised. The staff were polite, attentive, and always smiling. Thanks to the whole team for the wonderful hospitality. I'll definitely be back!

Skylark was such a lovely find, with a welcoming, charming atmosphere. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff did so much to make us feel welcome. A great place for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

The staff made a real impression on us. Everyone was kind, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. Merci from France! 🙏 Even with a busy road and the airport nearby, we heard nothing once the windows were shut, despite the heavy air traffic. The rooms are on the small side, as you'd expect for the price, but they have plenty of sockets, a comfortable bed, and a very clean, updated bathroom. The carpet does look a bit dated for 2025, though. There’s parking right outside and breakfast is more than adequate. Clean linen was ready when we arrived, and reception can lend you a hairdryer. Oxford, Windsor, and London are all conveniently close. Great value, and we'd happily recommend it.

I needed to cancel my reservation and contacted the property twice to sort it out. Both times they sent me back to Booking.com, and Booking.com sent me straight back to the property. I was left stuck in the middle while neither side took responsibility. It was appalling service and communication, and felt unprofessional and disrespectful. I've never had such a lack of accountability from a guest house. I wouldn't recommend it or return.
