London Bridge Hotel

The location made getting around London easy, with a tube station right next door, and the bar was pleasant with reasonable prices. Staff were great and couldn’t have done more for us. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and can’t wait to come back. I had a standard double. It wasn’t huge, but there was enough space, and it was really clean with everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable. Such a lovely hotel, I’ll stay here again next time I’m in London.

I picked this hotel mainly for the location and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite without being over the top. Breakfast was spot-on: not loads of options, but everything was good quality, and the tea was the best I’ve had in a hotel for a long time. The room was small but very well equipped, with an extremely comfortable bed. The bar and lounge felt cosy and welcoming. Given where it is, I found very little to fault. Thank you.

Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, with plenty to choose from, from continental food to a full English, plus teas, coffees and juices. We also enjoyed the cosy bar, which was well priced for London and a relaxing spot for a drink before or after dinner. The bar staff were particularly attentive. The hotel was clean and well presented throughout. Our room was cosy, with a large, very comfortable bed, a fridge, coffee machine and blackout curtains that made it completely dark. We were given a free upgrade to a superior king-size room when the friendly front desk staff realised it was our first visit, which was a lovely gesture. The location worked well for our dinner at the Shard. Everyone was polite, friendly and smartly presented. We couldn’t fault our stay and would make this our go-to hotel in the area.

Breakfast is well worth having, especially delivered to the room. The staff were friendly, smartly dressed and happy to help, and the room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. I stayed for one night and would gladly return. It’s perfectly placed for the Shard and London Bridge Station. I’ve only taken off a star because of the wheelchair access. There was no way to let staff know from outside that I needed a ramp, and they didn’t seem trained in setting it up. I passed this on to the hotel, and they were receptive and willing to consider how to improve things for a differently abled guest. As a solo wheelchair traveller, I had a pleasant night in London.
