Monarch House Serviced Apartments

We stayed for two weeks and would choose this place again. The apartment was quiet, spacious and clean, with a complete kitchen that even had an air fryer. The basement car park was roomy and handy while we had a rental car for a week. Staff were very nice and helpful. The Underground, good restaurants and a supermarket next door made the location convenient, and as Catholics we were glad to find a Catholic Church right beside the property.

Our two-bedroom apartment was roomy, well equipped and worked just fine, with shops and parks nearby. It was a good setup for a family. Every now and then there was a whirring noise from the second bedroom. I couldn't tell if it was a water pump or something else.

We were upgraded to a huge three-bedroom deluxe apartment, and would gladly return. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean, the kitchen well equipped, and there was plenty of hot water. Public transport and loads of amenities are right nearby. One thing I'd like to see is recycling facilities. We were told to put paper, card, plastic, cans and glass in the bin, and surely there must be a better option.

We found the apartment clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The courtyard is lovely to walk through when you get back from a day out. Monarch House is tucked behind a busy Kensington street, with the tube, a grocery store next door, parks, the Design Museum, cafes and restaurants close by. Our complaint was the refurbishment in the hallway beside our room throughout our seven-night stay. The electric drills in the morning were unpleasant, and the construction and half-painted walls weren't what we expected on vacation.
