Moonlight

The room was the best value I've found on all my trips to Europe. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the extras I needed. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. At check-in, I got a warm welcome, help with my luggage, and someone showed me how everything in the room worked. Hotel Moonlight was a fantastic surprise. If you want a good location, attentive staff, and a great room, don't hesitate to book.

The bed was soft and cozy, and my husband and I slept like babies. Our room was small, sure, but it felt just right for us. People complain about small rooms, though that's what London hotels are like. We had a wonderful stay and no complaints. A big thank you to Joe at the front desk. He was so friendly and welcoming, and explained how to reach the Piccadilly underground line, about a 2-3 minute walk away, which connects to the main attractions. We also appreciated the central air at Hotel Moonlight. We once stayed at Tower Bridge hotel, which is meant to be a fancy high-end hotel, but the staff were unfriendly and there was no central air in summer. They gave us an old fan and we were baking. We'll definitely keep booking here.

The small glass screen on the tub shower didn't keep water off the bathroom floor, which got quite wet each time. Drying it with towels was easy enough for me, but the hotel could avoid all that standing water by fitting a properly sized partition. That was my only real complaint. I like a clean, fairly quiet room, a good bed and shower, and a reasonable walk to the Underground. I don't spend much time in hotel rooms, and Hotel Moonlight's no-frills approach, with no extras or breakfast, suited me perfectly. It's a short walk from Earl's Court Underground station and lots of good places to eat. They provide a map with recommended spots for food and drink, including breakfast places. The front desk was always staffed by cheerful people ready to answer questions. My room was wonderfully quiet, though sound carried through two doors set almost against each other at a hallway corner. Mostly I just heard the other door closing as guests came and went, so it didn't bother me. I was very pleased with my stay and would come back.

I loved the small room, and the bed gave me the best sleep of my vacation. It's within walking distance of loads of restaurants, pubs, shops, and even massage parlors. The closest station, Earls Tube, was about a five-minute walk or less. I arrived on my birthday to a bottle of wine, chocolates, and a personal birthday note from the hotel in my room. The gentleman who greeted me had a handsome smile and already knew my name. Maybe I do look like a Cinnamon. They also gave me an easy travel phone, so I could call my parents at home and use data while out and about. This hotel is excellent. I'll definitely stay again. Thanks for such a great experience!
