OYO The Arch, Wembley Stadium

BOOK WITH CAUTION FOR EVENTS. We booked back in September for the Coldplay concert. Like other reviewers, we arrived and Vishal at reception told us our booking had been cancelled. Neither the hotel nor the booking platform had emailed or contacted us beforehand. When we got in touch about it, staff and OYO Rooms said nothing about the situation. Hotels.com did give us a full refund. Please be careful booking this hotel, especially around a busy event.

Our booking was cancelled while we were standing in the lobby. Staff said it “wasn't showing up,” which was a lie, and they were rude, dismissive and unwilling to help. Other guests were going through the same thing at the same time, so it seems to be a pattern. We were left without a room after travelling, and it caused a lot of stress. Untrustworthy and unprofessional. Avoid booking here, it's not worth ruining your trip.

I flew in from Dublin for a Coldplay concert at Wembley and had to find somewhere to stay at the last minute. I booked a room through Airbnb, but when I got to the pub there was a group of angry people saying their rooms had been rebooked without any cancellation notice. The same had happened to me. Reception told us all that our rooms had been cancelled two days earlier, but none of us had been told, and we had all arrived expecting somewhere to sleep. My Airbnb booking was still active and didn't show a cancellation. They'd rebooked the rooms to new guests at extortionate prices without cancelling the original bookings. Staff wouldn't speak to us or help, while more people kept arriving to find the same situation. I was especially shocked by how little empathy they showed to the people they'd completely let down. Be warned if you're thinking of booking here for a Wembley concert.

The room was clean and cosy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for an event at Wembley Stadium, and the location couldn't have been better, just a short walk away. It was great value for the price, and I'll definitely stay again next time I visit.
