Premier Inn London Archway

Evenings were a bit chaotic, with very slow service. It looked like there weren’t enough staff on duty, though the people working were busy, very friendly, and apologetic. I’d recommend this for bed and breakfast, but not an evening meal. Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn fare, with everything restocked quickly and no complaints from me. The location is good value, about 15 minutes by tube into London without the city-centre premium. There are lots of fast food places and supermarkets nearby, and Hampstead heath is a 15-20 minute walk away. The rooms were a bit tired but very clean and tidy, and quiet enough that I didn’t hear any noise. The lifts can be used without a key card, but locked doors protect all the floors. We got a warm welcome and were able to get into our room a little early.

Being vegan, I usually find it tricky to get food that suits me, but the vegan pizza here was better than most I’ve had at Italian restaurants. The staff made the stay a great experience too, from the receptionist to the bar team, who helped with my bags. They really went above and beyond. A special mention to elenan and Dwight.

AJ and MD were so accommodating during my two-night stay in London. Even while dealing with a very rude customer for much of the evening, they stayed polite and respectful and did their best to look after everyone. The chef was trying just as hard. Thanks to all three for the brilliant service. They’re a credit to Premier Inn.

AJ and MD were friendly, efficient and helpful during my two-day stay, including giving us tips on nearby places to visit. I also saw a man harassing them, shouting slurred words and calling them names. They tried to talk through whatever was bothering him, but he wouldn’t speak appropriately. He then started following AJ around. Despite all that, AJ kept serving the other customers professionally and efficiently.
