Premier Inn London Blackfriars

We really enjoyed being close to both bus and tube routes, which made getting around easy during our long weekend together. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet we tried on the last day was tasty, with proper food and good value for the money. The downside was the room temperature: even with a thermostat we could adjust, we found the room quite cold unless we kept the heating on.

The check-in machine seemed strange at first, but it turned out to be straightforward. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet, and I slept amazingly in the cosy bed. Breakfast was superb, with lots of options, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Perfect for an overnight in London, close to everything you need. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you, Team London Blackfriars!

The staff at Blackfriars Premiere Inn Dorset Street look after us very well, and the service is absolutely first class. My partner and I keep returning because the hotel is so central, with shops, restaurants and attractions nearby. The tube station is at least a two-minute walk away, and from there we can reach the city, Westfields Shopping mall and the West End of London to enjoy and explore great views and sites. That’s why I’ve given five stars for the room service, service and location.

The location is handy for London sightseeing, right near the tube, with a Tesco extra and Sainos close by. The room was okay, but I’m not sure the tiny fridge and hairdryer justify the ‘plus’ room label. One bath towel for two people over two nights also felt a bit tight. More concerning, someone entered our room while we were out and took the spare key pass. On a cold January evening when we went to a show, we left the pass in its slot and set the heating low, since the room stat would turn it off at 20 degrees. When we got back, the pass was gone.
