HNIN was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay. I was there for training, and she made sure both my instructor and I had what we needed and helped create a pleasant environment. Her support is the reason I gave this rating. Despite the issues, the hotel does have a lot going for it. I slept very well once I got home! The location is excellent, with convenient public transport. My single room was surprisingly spacious, clean, and well maintained. As a very tall person, I appreciated that the bed was long enough and comfortable. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. One lift was out of service for my entire four-night stay, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Room 343 was next to a stairwell and a door to another section of the hotel. People used that door constantly, and it made noise every time it opened or shut, disturbing my sleep as a light sleeper. I’m not sure why it wasn’t kept open to reduce the noise. The air vent rattled, especially at night on higher speed, like loose plastic, though it seems an easy fix. The carpets throughout looked very worn and made the otherwise beautiful hotel feel dated. The gym could use more equipment, since some weights were missing.

For the price and location, this is a very good choice, and I’d happily stay again. The rooms aren’t the cleanest or the largest, though that’s not unusual for a reasonably priced hotel in London. The breakfast area is quite good, and the food is fresh, though the selection could be better.

Aditi was excellent throughout our stay, kindly helping us move rooms when our first one felt cold, drafty, and noisy. We really appreciated her support. Once we’d moved, things were much more comfortable. Cecilia was lovely and attentive at breakfast and made each morning enjoyable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Radisson Blu South Kensington. Thanks to the team for their warm service.

The staff were friendly and professional, and their service made the stay feel easy and welcoming. Breakfast was another highlight, with a good buffet and plenty of options to start the day. Some rooms feel small for the price, and there’s a bit of wear and dated decor in places. Still, the very central London location made everything feel close and easy to reach. A solid choice if location and service are what matter most.

The staff were the best part, especially Tanzim, apologies if I’ve got the spelling wrong, and Cecelia. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and really added to our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the iron was good quality. The hairdryer was powerful too. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had at a hotel, with a huge range, good coffee, food that wasn’t too salty, and à la carte options. The Radisson Blu Kensington is a beautiful old-style building, but it has every modern convenience and we were very comfortable. The location was perfect, right beside Gloucester Road tube station, with a Sainsbury’s nearby. We’ve just returned from a wonderful London stay and will be straight back!
