Roomzzz London Stratford

We stayed two nights in a Neo Studio. It’s quite small, but has the facilities you’d expect in a fully equipped apartment: fridge, fitted microwave, hob, sink and tap, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, and cutlery. The aircon was the main nuisance. It was too noisy when running, but the room was very warm even in November, so we had to use it to keep the temperature around 20°C. There’s no breakfast, but coffee is free around the clock, and the lobby has free croissants in the morning. There’s also a small café where you can buy snacks, basic essentials, and ready-to-eat food to prepare in your room. The lobby has plenty of places to sit and work, plus a separate office space for more serious work. The underground car park is small but very clean and secure. It’s locked except when people enter or leave, and you can access it with your room key card. We were happy to pay extra to keep our car safe during the stay. We’d be glad to stay here again, or at another Roomzzz branch elsewhere in the country.

Stratford worked out well as a calmer base for London, especially since I was arriving by car. Roomzzz Stratford is around a 15-minute walk from the nearest tube, with plenty of restaurants nearby and Stratford Centre close for shopping. The Elizabeth line gets you into central London in about 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment was roomy and clean, with nice views and a kitchen that had everything I needed. There’s parking at the property, though I’d arranged my own spot a couple of minutes away. I also appreciated the free coffee and croissant downstairs in the morning.

A really good London find. The rooms are spotless and have everything you might need, and the place is comfortable without costing a lot. Staff are lovely too, and the location is great.

Our three-bedroom apartment was huge, clean and spacious, which made it just right for our young family. I can see it working well for a group of friends too.
