The location was good, very close to Russell Square station, and the rooms were clean and big enough. It felt like good value, and the whole hotel was clean. Breakfast had a good selection, and I have to mention the hot milk and hot chocolate powder, what a great idea! Service was okay. It was busy, so some staff were rushing and could come across as rude, especially when they kept coming to the table to clear plates, bowls and cups. Most of the staff were pleasant, though. The windows must be thin because we could hear traffic and people passing even from the third floor, but after a tiring day we still managed to sleep.

The location is the one thing I liked. The room was very old and basic, with limited amenities, and the bathroom was the worst I've had even compared with other lower-end hotels. The showerhead was fixed to the wall, and you had to mix the hot and cold water yourself to get the temperature right. The hallways felt dark, with lots of rooms and group tours passing through. The hotel was busy and the staff seemed drained, though they were nice enough. I'd come back only if I had no other options.

We got a great price for one night in a triple room. When we arrived at 11am, it was already ready for us. It was large and immaculate, the beds were really comfortable, and we could open the windows. The staff were all great, especially Facundo. We also used the free luggage storage, and we'll definitely be back.

Mir at reception made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Check-in was quick and smooth, and she was so warm, kind, and professional that she set a lovely tone for the whole stay. If every hotel had someone like Mir, the experience would be perfect. Thanks for such a wonderful welcome!
