Mac2026. We’ll likely stay here again. The location was very good, with a small English village behind it, and there’s a great team across reception, concierge, and housekeeping. Our comfortable one-bedroom Deluxe apartment had an extra guest bathroom. We turned off the heating during our week there because the space got a bit too warm. The walk-in shower had good pressure, though the floor was very slippery. A fitted grab bar would make it safer, and somewhere to put our toiletries in the shower would be welcome instead of having to use the floor. The vehicle entrance made taxis convenient. But friends picking us up were warned they’d be fined if they stayed more than five minutes, with no negotiation. At 10pm, a security guard came to send visitors away even though we were just having a quiet chat. Pros and cons.

We’ve been here before and plan to return again and again. It’s a boutique hotel in a great spot near St John's Wood and Regents Park, with local shops and restaurants close by. The rooms are lovely, quiet, and tastefully appointed, and the staff are attentive to every need. There’s an on-site gym if you’d rather use that than go for a morning jog in Regents Park.
It’s an expensive place, and getting more so, but St John’s Wood is a lovely area with quaint olde worlde shops, and handy for North London, Central London, and Regent’s Park. We’ve stayed here a few times with family and friends, trying the three, four, and five-bedroom apartments. They’re clean, pleasant, and well equipped, with the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a dining area, living room, and one or sometimes two small kitchens. There’s a gym downstairs, and most of the machines worked when we went. Parking costs extra, and getting luggage to the lift is a bit tricky. It’s very secure, with EV chargers.
Staying at the Sanctum apartments with my family is always a joy. The service is impeccable, and the staff are considerate and professional. It feels like a home away from home, and we always choose it first when we come to London. Thank you as always, and kindest regards.
Restaurants, shops, and a public garden are all about a five-minute walk away. From Riddens Park, one of London's best parks, it’s a pleasant 30-minute walk to Primrose Hill Viewpoint or London Zoo. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly and ready to help any time, and it feels like a relaxing stay at home.
