The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were clean and tidy, with aircon. I slept comfortably on the mattress, and the beds have curtains. It's a decent hostel very close to a train station. I did wish there were a microwave in the common area. One evening around 6pm, people from the bar packed that area, so I had to eat dinner in my room.

Joshua at reception was a star. He was so accommodating and went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable and safe. I needed a walk-in at 5am after a night out, and the process was quick and easy. The place was clean, spacious, and comfy. Each bed has its own curtain, USB ports, and light. It's in a central, clean, safe area, and there's a pub connected too. A great all-round place.

The facilities were clean and the other guests were respectful. I was in London mainly for the VFS centre, just a 2 min walk away, and Moorgate Station is about 6-7 min on foot. The 24*7 check-in was convenient. There's also a bar, and breakfast is available at a reasonable price. A great place to stay.

The free luggage storage was nice, and Moorgate is only a 5-min walk away. Beyond that, I was disappointed. There's no common space to hang out except the bar. In my 4-person room, one guy covered the smoke detector so he could vape. The whole 2nd floor had a faint sour-vomit smell that never went away and made it hard to sleep. The bathrooms were okay, but beer glasses left in one of them were still there 12 hours later, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned. Room doors slam loudly and wake you up. My bunk shelf had trash on it, and there was gross stuff on the walls when I arrived. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

I never ended up staying here for personal reasons, but the staff were so friendly and helpful that I still wanted to leave a review. They were very accommodating.
