The location worked perfectly for us, close to King's Cross, St.Pancreas and Euston station, with trains, buses, and the subway all easy to get to. We stayed the second week of September for five days, in a first-floor room beside the staircase. It was small, but we managed fine and could fit our bags beside or under the bed. The room was really hot, which suited us during the first cold week of autumn, and it was cleaned daily. The bathroom was small but ALWAYS clean, which mattered most to us. We were really satisfied with the service at the Angus Hotel. The staff were kind and there whenever we needed anything. I’d happily recommend it and come back next time I’m in the city.🥰

The location is superb, just a three-minute walk from St.pancras station, with restaurants and bars nearby. Daytime service was good, but the night porter wasn’t very friendly, so our evening check-in wasn’t very pleasant, even though check-in is available at all hours. The floor moved a little underfoot, though that’s what you get in an old house. The pillows were quite firm, and the shower in our twin ensuite was pretty narrow.

We couldn’t open both suitcases at once in the tiny basement room, and the gap between the closet and sink was so narrow that brushing your teeth or wiping things down felt awkward. It was noisy, with everything from the adjoining rooms audible. There wasn’t much chance to ventilate, the power went out during our stay, and there was no floor towel. The location is excellent, and the receptionists were kind and polite. Compared with other nearby hotels, our room, sheets, and floors were clean and neat. Those were the only positives for us.

The bed was super comfortable, the room spotless, and the shower was great. It’s compact, but the location, service, and price make it hard to beat. I stay in London a lot and often feel ripped off, so I’d highly recommend this hotel for a good budget stay.

A tidy, modern little hotel surrounded by similar places. It’s very close to Kings Cross/St Pancras station, with various dining spots nearby and at least one laundry.
