A friend suggested this place, and I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in London. It was just right for what we wanted to see, with a subway station under a five-minute walk away and some great cafes nearby. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. We didn’t get to try the pub next door, though it looked lively and its guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. A special shoutout to Jude for being so gracious and making me a great cappuccino. I’ll recommend the place to friends.

This is my regular stop when I get into London, especially since Euston Station is an easy walk away for trips out of the city. The bed and room are comfortable, and having air conditioning is a plus. Staff are friendly, and there are plenty of places to eat just a short walk away. I’ve only stayed on Sundays so far, when the pub itself is closed, so I can’t comment on its food or drinks.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but today’s food fell short of what we’ve come to expect from this pub. We’ve eaten here many times in the past and loved the food. I had my usual tofu with Chillies, and my husband ordered beef, but neither dish matched the high standard we’ve experienced before. I hope tough economic times aren’t leading to a wider drop in pub standards.

The green curry was lovely, and so were the bar staff. It was busy but friendly, and felt welcoming, especially as a woman on my own. Worth seeking out.

A little slice from the nearby hospital, which is handy if you’re visiting patients, and Warren Street Tube is five minutes away. They’ve got vegan and gluten-free food, meal and drink deals, a good choice of wine and beer, and friendly, polite staff. Plus, there are dog pictures on the walls.
