The Hoxton Holborn

We didn’t need public transport to get around, though if we had, it was only a minute’s walk from the hotel. The location is exceptional, close to everything. The staff understood what we needed right away, explained things clearly, and gave great service throughout. The shower had strong pressure and hot water almost immediately. The hotel was extremely quiet despite being near the road and the elevators. A fantastic stay from start to finish, highly recommended.

Holborn is a great district for tourists, and the location was definitely the best thing about this hotel. We could get anywhere quickly, with nice restaurants and cafés nearby. The receptionists were always smiling and friendly. The rooms were okay, though the bathroom could have been cleaner and there were no slippers. Since our bed was against the wall, we could feel and hear it when someone next door closed their door. We also heard loud guests talking and laughing in the hallway at 3am. Still, it was a nice stay.

A simple shoebox room at a decent price for this area. The staff were attentive, the rooms were clean, and the location worked really well for the theatre and Leicester square. I’ll always come back when I’m doing things nearby.

The staff made us feel at home right away. Everyone we met was extremely friendly as well as polite, with special thanks to Sam, Tommy, Jasmine, Beth, and Barbara. We were on the fourth floor, and it was very quiet. The bed was so comfortable that adjusting to jet lag was much easier. The room had a beautiful restraint to it, with nothing extra but everything we needed, and the finishes were thoughtfully chosen, modern but still warm and cozy. We enjoyed chamomile tea in the room most evenings, and the Rondo restaurant menu had lots of GF options. It’s convenient for the tube, and an easy train ride to Heathrow. We’d definitely return.
