The staff were always warm and courteous, without being intrusive, and I’d definitely stay here again if I came back to see the landmarks. It’s a clean, cosy hotel at a very reasonable price, handy for city breaks and central London. The rooms mix modern and traditional touches nicely. There’s a powerful hot shower, impressive air conditioning, and Netflix is included at no extra charge.

For the price, this was incredible value, and I’d recommend it and stay again if I travel down. The rooms and en-suites are small, but they’re just right for one or two people on a city stay. Mine was clean and nicely decorated. I was on the ground floor and sometimes heard the train passing, but not at night, which is what matters. It’s about an 8 minute walk to Euston, and the 24/7 service was really helpful. I could leave my bags after checkout before my evening train, and the staff helped me during my stay.

The room was small but clean, with a modern design, and the staff were really kind. I didn’t try breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. I found the hotel through GoogleMaps, and it turned out to be a very good-value choice for my London stay. It’s conveniently located between Euston and Camden Town, close to Kings Kross (London St Pancras Station), the stop for the Luton express train from Luton Airport. In my opinion, the room rates were lower than those of nearby competitors.

The rooms were okay and the location was great, but the staff, especially the female receptionist, made me feel judged and deeply upset. She spoke at me rather than to me, as if I were beneath her or had done something wrong, almost like I was a criminal. She pulled out a lot of paperwork and insisted I sign everything, demanded my ID and had me sign the receipt. I photographed all of it. She spoke to colleagues in their language, and her tone made it clear to me that she was talking about me. While I looked for my reading glasses, she waited impatiently and repeatedly pointed at the paperwork, loudly saying, “sign there.” I raised my voice and told her I knew, I just needed my glasses. Her attitude felt like pure venom. I didn’t want to stay after that, but it was too late to change hotels. I often visit London for pleasure and business and have stayed in many hotels over the years, but I’ll never return here. I was judged as soon as I crossed the threshold, and she probably has no idea, or doesn’t care, how deeply she upset both me and my son. I should have expected trouble when the hotel emailed to say my card had been declined, even though my bank said otherwise.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a simple, clean, small room with a comfortable but rather small bed, and it suited my budget stay near Euston Station. I lost my room key card and had to pay 5 GBP for a replacement, which seemed a bit high. Don’t lose your keys.
