The orangery was the standout for me, a beautiful spot for breakfast, afternoon tea, and events. The terrace and garden also give you a lovely green retreat in central London. We had a wonderful birthday surprise stay at the luxury boutique Zetter Bloomsbury. The interior is high-end, with distinctive furniture, and the food was great. We also met the head chef, who introduced the menu with real enthusiasm. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We'll be back.

I had a lot of luggage and artworks, and the team kindly helped store everything and get it into a van. Housekeeping was exceptional, and Tudor the concierge was excellent. The food could be better, but it was a wonderful experience overall. I'll return!

Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory may have been my favorite part of a wonderful stay at The Zetter. I'd definitely stay again!

Breakfast in the sunlit orangery was a highlight. It overlooks a calm, stone-paved courtyard terrace with woven seats and big terracotta planters. The kitchen easily handled a few changes to our order. I had the best Eggs Benedict I've ever tasted, with perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and well-toasted muffins. The full breakfast was just as good, with quality ingredients from the black pudding to the blistered tomatoes. The Zetter Bloomsbury balances old character with modern elegance, and the service and design made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return. The staff were professional and attentive while still warm, and we felt looked after from check-in to check-out. The bedroom was gorgeous, with deep navy grasscloth wallpaper, a classic clawfoot bath in the corner beneath geometric textile art, an ultra-comfortable bed, premium linens, and chilled champagne in a silver ice bucket. In the marble-floored bathroom, the walk-in shower had glossy burgundy-and-white checked tiles, Verden products, and brass fixtures with a vintage feel. The townhouse is tucked away from central London's bustle. Its stone steps and striking sage-green geometric double doors lead into interiors full of rich wood antiques, ornate gold mirrors, Asian-inspired screens, and plush blue and mustard velvet seating. Each space feels carefully put together, with plenty of texture and color.

The Zetter Bloomsbury feels like an extension of the British Museum, where I’m a member. Its location opposite the museum is ideal, yet somehow it stays quiet and tucked away. I’ve stayed twice and loved both visits. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and welcoming each time, and the beds and well-considered bathrooms are great. I also love a bath, and the rooms with tubs are perfect. The garden is one of those rare London spots that can change your mood right away. It's still in its early stages, but I can picture it becoming a must-stop place for summer drinks. The interiors have art, books, antiques, and small details that make you look around. There's a clear point of view behind the design, but the place still feels comfortable and human, like a London townhouse belonging to someone with great taste. Luxurious without being stiff.
