Avia made everything easier when we needed to extend our stay. She sorted it out without stress, and reassured us she’d be there if we needed anything, which made us feel well cared for. The room was very clean, with a cozy bed and a lovely shower. I could easily sign in to Netflix on the TV. We also appreciated the little extras: bottled water, an umbrella to borrow and two milks in the fridge. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The rooms were roomy and modern, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed, including kitchen appliances, a hairdryer and an ironing board and iron. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the hospitality was great. Daniel welcomed us in a friendly, fun way and even got us checked in early, which was a lovely surprise. Everyone was kind and helpful. I’d definitely book again.

The only hiccup was a false fire alarm one morning. Otherwise, the room was peaceful and relaxing. It was clean when I arrived, and all the utensils and electrical items worked properly. There were plenty of towels, toiletries and other things needed for a short stay. The team at Wilde (Liverpool Street) were friendly without hovering or being overbearing. There’s no gym, which was a bit disappointing, and I wish there had been one or two lunch or dinner choices since the chef does such a good job at breakfast. Still, the breakfast options were broad and mostly tasty, and the lobby is a stylish, spacious place to eat or have a cocktail. A guest pantry offers free fruit and fresh herbs, along with snacks, drinks and dinner options for the full kitchens in most rooms. Prices seemed reasonable for most guests. The building feels practically new, and I hope they keep up the cleanliness. I had every confidence in the current staff, who were friendly and professional throughout. The entry doors open automatically, and after a certain time you need a key to get inside, which is convenient and feels safe. Rooms are a decent size, with fairly spacious bathrooms for their layout. Electronic blinds and heated towel rails give them a modern touch. There’s a market just outside on Sundays. I’d definitely stay again, mainly because of the staff.
