Zedwell Underground Hotel Tottenham Court Road

For a couple of work nights, this was a clean, tidy, well-maintained and good-value base, with members discounts and a great location for west London’s West End. I wouldn’t choose it for a romantic weekend, but it worked well for work. The wet-room shower leaves the bathroom floor damp, a familiar wet-room issue. Also, the air freshener pump throughout the building was too strong and a bit overwhelming.

Being able to walk everywhere made the stay especially convenient, and the service left me feeling really well looked after. I was welcomed so warmly that I felt comfortable right away. Cris was particularly lovely when I was leaving, very kind, helpful, and attentive. I’d happily come back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! ✨

If you’re going to the theatre, the venue is brilliantly located. We booked two rooms and paid for early check-in for just one because of our ticket time. The first staff member was kind and helpful, and we were told we could use self check-in when we came back. By then the staff had changed. As we started the self check-in we’d been instructed to use, the new staff member spoke to us extremely rudely: “When I speak to you, you respond to me.” I can’t believe we were addressed like that. It felt like some kind of power trip, and it was completely out of order when we were already halfway through the process. Do better.
