Elagh View Bed & Breakfast

There was mildew throughout the room and bathroom, and the pot still had used tea bags in it. They call it a bed and breakfast, but breakfast isn't included. The door code was awkward to use, and with no staff on site, it was hard to get hold of anyone.

We've stayed here twice and would gladly come back. It's a cosy little B&B in a quiet spot, with free parking on site. Check-in and check-out are both remote. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, a TV and tea and coffee facilities. There's also a garden room with a kitchen guests can use for self catering.

The garden room had a lovely view and was a good size, with automated check-in and check-out. The front door wouldn't lock, and after a shower the bathroom floor ended up very wet.

The room was cramped, with only about a foot between the shower door and the bed, and it never got cleaned. Towels were changed once, though the bin was emptied a few times. There were thick cobwebs in the window corner, stains all over the carpet and chair, and marks on the bedding that looked like oil. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I contacted the owners when I got home, but they weren't interested in my complaint, never asked to see my photos, and didn't even apologize.
