Everglades

On January 10 we went to see a Garth Brooks tribute band after checking in, which was a fun way to end the day and a memorable local touch. We were there as part of a CIE tour, staying that night and checking out the morning of January 11. The accommodations were comfortable and well maintained, and staff stayed welcoming, professional and attentive throughout. Breakfast on the 11th was relaxed and well organized, a lovely start to the day. I was also impressed by how calmly, respectfully and professionally the team handled the challenging situations with guests that I observed. Their courtesy never wavered. Thank you all for a pleasant stay. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Derry and would happily stay again.

We were six women staying on Saturday 21st Feb, and booking two triple rooms worked perfectly. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. One little annoyance, there weren't handy plug sockets near the mirror or beds. The receptionist was so friendly at check-in, which set a lovely tone for the weekend. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We meant to go into town, but the piano player was lovely until 9pm, then the live entertainment in the bar was so good we stayed. The staff were attentive, and the man in the bar found us a table with comfy chairs even though it was busy. We had a great time. The friendly staff are the hotel's biggest asset.

This overnight visit was a bit unplanned and part of my 70th birthday gift. The hotel was comfortable and well appointed, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the food fresh and tasty. I'd highly recommend a visit.

The food was good and it was great value. My room was clean and nice, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Everyone on staff was great. I had a lovely stay at Everglades and would come again.
