A charming old townhouse B&B inside the walled city, and very convenient to get to. My room was small, with lovely old-fashioned decor, and the bathroom had a warming rack. The windows look onto the wall, which is a pretty special view. Breakfast was wonderful, and the host was delightful. I had a great stay and would happily recommend it and come back.

I chose this place for its location and value, and was really pleased with the accommodation. It was spotless, the beds were super comfortable and the bath products were lovely. I slept through breakfast, unfortunately, but the room where it’s served looked lovely. We could also leave our belongings there between checkout and our bus home.

A great little find for exploring Derry/Londonderry, and good value if you’re after a clean, basic room rather than a 4/5 star hotel. We stayed one night. The room was simply and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, and tea and coffee facilities. The en-suite had a toilet, sink and walk-in shower, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Breakfast in the basement was mostly self-service, with cereal, toast and jam, yogurt, tea, coffee and orange juice. The owner was welcoming and pleasant. There are a few signs of age, and the windows aren’t much to look at, but it was exactly as described. We couldn’t fault it for what it is, and we’ll return and recommend it to people visiting the city. It does what it says on the tin. 😃

The owner was sound, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are small but quaint, with tea and coffee, a TV and a bath/shower in the bathroom. The location is ideal, right inside the city walls. Breakfast was cereal, bread and toast with jams and honey, plus tea and coffee.

We found Number 8 The Townhouse to be good value and a great choice for a city visit. It’s a lovely old Victorian house in an ideal location, and our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. There wasn’t a cooked breakfast, but there was a decent selection of cereals, breads and condiments. The owner made everyone feel welcome over breakfast, and the booking details and communication before arrival were very informative. Thanks, Keiran, for a lovely stay.
