Limehouse Library Hotel

The Charles Dickens room was exceptional, though next time I'd love to try a different one. The whole hotel felt romantic, especially the rooftop terrace, and we had a quick meal at the restaurant that was amazing. The Turkish bath was wonderful too. We were there for Valentine's weekend, and Hazal took care of our booking and was so accommodating with everything we needed. The room was really cool and unusual, and the staff made the occasion feel extra special for me and my partner. The DLR is about a five-minute walk away, which was handy, though Canary Wharf felt a little out of the way on foot. Still, it was an amazing visit and I'd love to return.

The building is absolutely stunning, and the refurbishment is great. The staff were excellent and the service first class. I had the best body massage I've ever had, and the Turkish Bath was lovely. Afternoon Tea was delicious too. Highly recommend, we're already booking another visit.

We stayed here for an event at the O2 and would happily return, especially for another O2 visit or if we need to be near Canary Wharf. Each room has its own theme, the decor is done exceptionally well, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast alone is a must for me. The value and quality are hard to match, with fresh produce, plenty of meats and cheeses, very green avocados, good olive oils, and great vegetarian choices. The cooked options were excellent too, especially the fried eggs with rich yolks and the meaty sausages. The three of us all thought it was the best breakfast we'd had in a long time.

The lamb ravioli and pumpkin pie were full of flavour, and the waiter was so friendly, even though he said it was his first week. We had a lovely Sunday lunch in this quirky old library hotel. Some of the dolls feel a bit eerie, but the space and atmosphere are wonderful. A unique meal with real character and charm.
