It was good value for central London, but I found the lack of privacy really depressing. There were no net curtains, and people in the Restaurant and on the opposite street could see in if I opened the blinds. I had to stay fully dressed, even just after a shower when I wanted to do my make-up, dry my hair, and get dressed at my own pace. There was no natural light, and the only room lighting was poor artificial light above the bed. The beds were small, single, and hard. There weren't any teaspoons, even though a kettle and coffee were supplied.

The location is great, but the hotel was unbelievably dirty, disgusting to a level I can't describe. The pictures were taken when we checked in, before we'd used anything. The sheets had other people's hair in them, there was dust, and I could show more. It really looked like no one ever cleans the rooms.

The only fault I noticed was that the carpet needed more vacuuming. Otherwise, my stay was very comfortable for a fair price. The room was quite large, with clean sheets and a huge bed for one person. The bathroom was tidy and clean, with liquid soap dispensers, and room service made the bed every day. The location is excellent. I'd expected worse from reading the reviews, but the man at reception was kind and explained where my room was and how the key card worked.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lovely beds. My mum was especially pleased to see Yorkshire Tea bags. There are shops and restaurants nearby, a bus stop around the corner, and the underground is a short walk away. I hadn't researched the place properly and didn't realise there was no lift. My mum was on Crutches, so when the man on Reception saw her, he moved us to a room right by reception that was easier to reach. He was really sweet about it, and lovely when he checked us in. We'll definitely come back!

The rooms were pristine and had everything you'd expect, and the location was spot on with good parking. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were very nice, helpful with everything, and really went out of their way to make the stay perfect. I'd definitely stay again without a doubt.
