Bull Hotel

Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty to choose from. I had pancakes with Greek yoghurt and fruit, while my husband went for a full English. The lovely ladies serving us made it even better. We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the twin beds were very comfortable. It's a beautiful old building, and we'd be glad to stay again.

The only downside was the weak internet in our room. Everything else was great: the staff were amazing and helpful, and the room was really comfortable. It felt well worth what we paid and still had the lovely old pub style. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.

We really liked the rooms, which were clean and very nice, and the food and drink were good too. There was a pleasant spot to sit and have a drink. The staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. It was a lovely little find. If you're in the area, give it a try.

We ended up going to the Cock and Bell down the road, where we probably spent a lot less. We'd seen the menu and thought the pub restaurant looked just right, so we arrived at 6 pm on Saturday. Almost every table was reserved. We sat at one, but the waitress moved us along, saying it was reserved too, and put a reserved sign on it. The bar area was full but very quiet, and the whole thing left us feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. That didn't make up for how unwelcome we felt at your place.
