Les cooked a delicious breakfast, and the beds were super comfy and warm. The Victorian home has been brought back to life, and stepping inside feels like going back in time. The festive decorations were outstanding when I visited, and Derek’s attire is fantastic. Derek and Les are both lovely hosts, and the service and atmosphere made the whole experience impeccable. Recommend 💯

There’s artwork, lovely ornaments and chandeliers wherever you look, with fantastic attention to detail throughout this delightful guest house. The hosts were fantastic too, and breakfast was made with top-quality ingredients.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the absolutely heavenly sausage. Lez and Derek were so welcoming and made me feel at home, with excellent service and wonderful hospitality. My room was beautiful, the bathroom spacious and immaculately kept, and the whole stay was comfortable, warm and charming. I had a truly wonderful time at Holywell House and highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back.

The whole place has such a lovely character. Les & Derek made me feel safe and at home from the moment I arrived until I left. A really charming stay, five stars and more.

Jayne & Ton will be back, and I can see why. The breakfast was a treat, with crispy black pudding, proper-tasting sausage, two rashers of smoky bacon, and tea brought in a silver pot. Everything was spotless and beautifully arranged, and the kindness and attention from Lez&Deric felt second to none. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Thank you for such a wonderful visit.
