Richard looked after us brilliantly, with friendly, attentive service and a great sense of humour. We both had the fish and chips, and it was full of flavour, with perfectly cooked fish and light, crisp batter. The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold felt warm and welcoming, a comfortable place to relax over a meal. I'd definitely recommend it and hope to return.

We were staying at a local farm park and popped in just for food. It was busy, but the staff were excellent and found us a table. Service was brilliant, and there was plenty of choice for coeliacs. Even the kids found new things to try. The old, historic pub restaurant had a great atmosphere and felt clean and inviting, with very clean toilets too. The food was probably the best I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend eating here if you can, and we'd return.

We also popped in for a quick drink on a different day, and it was lovely for that too. For my wife's birthday, we had an excellent roast dinner at The Porch House, and the staff were lovely. Restaurant timing can be tricky with a roast, compared with cooking at home, but they got it right and I finished my meal without a complaint. We visited in February, when several fireplaces were lit, making the place feel warm, cosy, and welcoming.

Richard was our server at lunch today, and he was attentive, kind, and funny. He gave our Valentine's Day a great start, and the team provided lovely service and food. We had arancini to begin, then a Caesar salad and linguine, all of which were 12/10. The cocktails and pints were great too.

Listen, we're pub snobs and went looking for the best pub in the cotswolds. This was it. We started in our own snug with a private fire, then had excellent pints of Guinness. Chris, an absolute legend, led us to our table. The truffle arancini was as good as it gets, and the wagyu burger with truffle mushroom was incredible. Dessert was even better, the toffee pudding. Thanks to Mandy and Chris for the brilliant service and food suggestions. After our big pub-ranking mission, this was all we could have asked for. We'll be back. Peruvian approved.
