What keeps bringing us back to South Lawn Hotel is the staff. Many of them have been there since our first visit, and every one is friendly and polite in a genuine way. They’re so thoughtful with our four-legged friends, too, which makes it a must for us. We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed, and each trip has been just as good as the last. The bar extension is fabulous, and there’s always something new. We’ll be back again, and again.

We were a little nervous about our first hotel stay with Buddy, but Tim and the team made us feel welcome straight away. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a good size, and the beds are comfortable. There’s something for everyone on the restaurant and bar menu. The staff were smart, extremely polite, and nothing seemed to be a problem. We’re looking forward to coming back soon.

A super relaxing break, and Tim, Nikki and the team give us a wonderfully warm welcome every time. We’ve been staying here for years, and it gets better with each visit. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

My king room had a nicely firm mattress and a walk-in shower. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A very clean place for a quiet, relaxing break.

We ended up checking into South Lawn for the second night after cutting short a planned two-night stay at another local hotel. What a find. The restaurant food was amazing, and the service from the friendly, efficient staff was everything we could have wanted. The hotel itself is spotless and tastefully decorated.
