Charlie, Jo's little dog, always gives me the best greeting. I stay now and then when I'm in lymington for work, and Jo goes above and beyond for me every time. The rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is utterly delicious, and Jo is just the loveliest host. Just excellent.

Jo is a welcoming host, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed, with plenty of drawer space. The shower is easy to use and works great, and breakfast is quality. There's good Wi-fi and a secure back garden if you bring a bike. The location is handy for the station, town, forest and harbour.

Jo was extremely hospitable and knew the local area well. She gave us great recommendations and always had time for a chat. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. Bonus points for the little dog who was scared of seagulls. We had a brilliant stay at Durlston House for my partner’s birthday, and hope we can come back one day. Thanks, Jo and team. Breakfast was freshly cooked, generous, and tailored to what each of us needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower and toiletries provided. Jo gave us a lovely, warm welcome, and everyone on the staff we met was kind and thoughtful. We’re planning to come back.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The modern ensuite shower had great pressure. Jo was friendly and helpful, with good suggestions for places to eat and visit nearby. Breakfast had cereals, juice, tea and coffee, plus a cooked option that was spot on. It’s only a five-minute walk into town, and I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lymington.
