We were a group of six adults and six kids, from six months up to nine years old. There was loads of space in the bedrooms, and the house had good facilities. The lounge felt a bit snug with all of us in it, though we could still all fit. The views are fantastic, and nearby there are a couple of little play areas and a pub with really good food.

The house is lovely and sits in a beautiful setting. We came as a family for a week in October, and the lounge felt quite cramped when all of us were together, so I’m not sure it would be comfortable with more than seven people. The bathrooms were all good, especially the showers, and having a utility room was handy. The heating responded quickly, which we appreciated in the cold, wet weather. The owner had changed internet providers, and the connection was great during our stay. A few things could use attention: the mattresses felt saggy and might need replacing or comfortable toppers, and with hard floors downstairs we missed having a broom. There were lots of remote controls, but quite a few had no batteries. Aberdovey beach was easy to get to. We also had a lovely meal at the child-friendly Riverside restaurant, just two minutes down the road.

The owner was helpful from booking through to the stay, and the house is well equipped. It can comfortably sleep 8-10 people. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

It’s very well looked after and works easily for five families. A great place all round, with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.

Comfortable place in a good location. It felt a little cosy with all twelve of us there.
