Hyatt Regency Manchester

The reception team could have been more welcoming, which was the one letdown. Otherwise, it was a great experience. The hotel looks lovely inside, our room was comfortable and well cared for, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. It’s also conveniently located for getting around. I’d recommend it.

For parking, Aquatic car park is a good option at £13.00 for 24 hours. The hotel itself is brilliant, with very nice food and lots of beers, wines, and spirits at the bar. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and polite. Both the bathroom and bedroom were very clean and in good condition. I’m sure I’ll stay again within the year. Well done to everyone at the Hyatt.

The restaurant meal was good, but the service was off: my starter and main arrived together. I had to ask them to hold the main until I’d finished the starter, something they should have handled without being prompted. Staff across the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness and presentation were up to standard. The room was comfortable and nicely presented, though the air conditioning was noisy at night and sound carried from guests above and around me. The lack of soundproofing made this one of my less peaceful hotel stays, so light sleepers should bear that in mind. The location is convenient, with plenty of coffee shops and local amenities nearby, and it’s a straightforward 25-minute walk to central Manchester if you want to explore without staying right in the thick of it.

We’d come over from Hyatt House, and the early check-in they arranged was very kind. The room was on the small side, but had all the amenities and services we needed for a comfortable stay. Restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Andrea. She suggested things from the menu, pointed out nearby places to visit, and gave our daughter a drawing book and colours to keep her busy. It was a very good experience. Thanks to the whole team.
