There's no air conditioning, so the rooms get hot. The hostel is above two noisy pubs or clubs, with plenty more nearby, so it's not a good fit if you don't stay up late. Food places are plentiful, and there's a corner shop across the road for drinks and snacks. The cabin beds are good, with storage in the bed and a locker in the room. Bring two padlocks. Each bed has a light, curtain and loads of charging points. The Wi-Fi is good, though it sometimes disconnects. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and two sinks. There's a lift, but you may still need to manage a few stairs.

A really good hostel: friendly staff, and the rooms and beds were good and comfortable. My only complaint is the breakfast. Skip it. It was listed online as a full English, but what we got was far from that and didn't look good. When I visit England, a full English breakfast is what I expect and want.

The location is handy, close to the centre. The room was just okay.

The dorm was clean and nice, and you're close to pretty much everything. There can be noise from the pubs and bars on the street until around 3am on most days, so bring earplugs if you plan ahead.
