It felt like home, with what we needed down to the details, right in the heart of Manchester. We didn't come for luxury or five-star treatment, but the rooms were great, quiet and had everything we needed, and breakfast was great too. The pub downstairs was the heart of the place, with Lovely Dianne at the counter. Best of all was the location, right at the entrance to Picadelly train station. I can't explain how much that changed our trip around England and Manchester. Amazing experience, would definitely recommend.

It's a small place with breakfast included, and it's a little noisy. But the location is so good that it still works brilliantly.

At 2pm on Sunday, I came in hoping to have a quick drink before catching my train. A woman turned me away, saying, “it is locals only today!” What an awful welcome to this great British city. Fortunately, there are other places around that are more welcoming.

The atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are amazing. It's a great pub, and I go whenever I can. Would highly recommend.
