The Place Aparthotel

The apartments are huge and clean, and the hotel looks stunning. But the temperature was unbearable even with no heating on. It was far too hot to sleep, and the rooms really need air conditioning.

We went for a hen party, and they decorated our room and left party bags, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and the place was clean and beautiful inside. It's in a really good spot, less than a five minute walk from Piccadilly station. Check out was at 11, so the next morning didn't feel rushed. There wasn't much cutlery or crockery in the apartment, but it wasn't a problem, and we could easily have asked for more. I'd recommend it.

The outside and inside of the hotel were both lovely, and the staff were very helpful. I stayed two nights while attending a training course and could happily have stayed longer. I didn't have any noise problems, which surprised me given how many reviews mention it. A wonderful example of a modern hotel.

I can't comment on the rooms, as I stayed elsewhere overnight. I was there for a work event in the downstairs function room at The Place Apart'hotel. Getting there was easy, just five minutes from both Piccadilly station and Piccadilly Gardens. Our room was spacious, and the staff quietly kept the water and table supplies topped up. Lunch was good quality and there was plenty, though the combination of dishes was a little odd.
