The room was perfect for us and we honestly loved it. The heater didn’t work, so I felt a bit cold, but there were extra covers, which made it fine. The staff were awesome, so kind and helpful. They even let us leave our heavy backpacks before check-in, which was a big favor. Very glad we booked this place, highly recommended.

We had a tidy, nice room and a comfortable bed with a warm duvet. There were tea and coffee facilities and a breakfast tray. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and in a friendly way. We were in the top room, where the skylight leaked. The sink was cracked, and the plug wouldn’t stay in the hole.

For the price, it’s great value. The room was small, but felt homely, with an ensuite toilet and shower. I’m a bit tall for the shower, but that’s not a mark against them. We had trouble finding the place because Google Maps was useless, but once we got there mid-afternoon, the guy at the desk welcomed us warmly. He explained how to get to Manchester Academy, our venue for the night. They’d also left a little tray with cereal, fruit, biscuits and other things, a nice continental breakfast. Lovely place, I’d stay again.

When our son was seven, the owner, Abdul, helped us get him to the local hospital and spoke on our behalf so we could get checked in. He was incredibly generous and kind. It felt like God had sent him to help save our child. If you stay at this bed and breakfast, you’ll be watched over by God’s servant.
