I sent my IDs after booking and made my way to the property as requested, but the man wasn't there. He said he'd need 45 minutes. I told him that wasn't good enough and asked for a refund, and he agreed. Then I called booking.com and he told them he'd arrived and I was a no-show. Very dishonest. He refused to refund me, but I got a chargeback through my bank, and booking.com sided with me. They said they would remove him from booking.com. Avoid this cowboy!

Please don't hand this man your deposit. He still hasn't returned my £300 and was very rude and unprofessional. He made up claims that I had a party and smoked in the property. Don't sign any document, it feels like a scam. I wouldn't want to sleep in a bedroom that smells horribly of toilets. Book yourself at hiltons instead, at least you'll get what you paid for.

I only just found out from my friend that this operator may not be honest. Think twice and choose another place to stay. I'm writing because I don't want anyone else to fall for this scam. Don't trust Agoda's comments about the property. The operator makes guests leave positive comments before returning their deposits, and in the end our deposit wasn't refunded.

The apartment was decent, and the manager came across as friendly and professional. I was very pleased to get my deposit back within 24 hours. I'd definitely stay again :)
