Distillery Guest House

The rooms were extremely clean and beautiful, with lovely views from both the rooms and breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious, especially the buttery scrambled eggs. The staff were delightful and made us feel so welcome. It's a lovely, central spot for getting around Fort William. What a gem, we'll definitely be back!

Our room was right behind the counter, with two single beds squeezed into a space that was far too small for them. Still, the room and bathroom were clean. The host didn't feel welcoming; they just went through the usual story without much enthusiasm. Breakfast was okay, but you could choose only one main dish using a form. Cereal and toast were unlimited. For what you get, the guest house costs far too much. At half the price, it would have been good.

The guest house covers the basics for a simple stay without spending too much, but it's not luxury and isn't suitable for families. It's just a guest house. The location was handy for public transport and a few local restaurants. Breakfast choices were somewhat limited, and the Wi-Fi was patchy at times.

The staff, both the guys and girls, were very nice. The shower and breakfast were good, too. It wasn't the cleanest room I've slept in, but it's a decent place for a night if you're hiking. I'd say it's okay if you're on a budget.
