We came for a rugby tournament weekend, and the location worked perfectly for our group. Breakfast had lots of choice and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient at check-in and in the mornings. Our room was clean, though it’s starting to look dated. I understand the hotel is being refurbished, so I’d come back in the future. Would recommend.

Breakfast was the best, with loads to choose from and a hot cooked option. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and the cleaner did a really thorough job. Our spacious room had two beds, a bath, a shower and a great-sized TV, plus the best tea and coffee tray. The hotel is spotless and just a five-minute walk from town. We’ll definitely be back for another long weekend. Thanks for a lovely stay ❤️

We had a great break and would give it five stars. The superior room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and I slept really well. Breakfast was very good, with everything on offer. The location suited us perfectly, about five minutes from the station, and the staff were brilliant. I’d recommend the superior room.

The breakfast was great, and it’s a good enough room for a city hotel. I was lucky to get one of the refurbished rooms on the 7th floor, though it didn’t feel quite ready. There was a big bed for two but just one chair. No dressing table or luggage table, and a lot of wasted space behind the door. There was nowhere to put things down.

We stayed for the theatre and had a fantastic night away. Check-in was easy, the room was warm, and the bed was massive. There was also a fridge with two bottles of water, two cans of diet coke and two large KitKats. We slept really well and breakfast was terrific. The 2 pm checkout gave us time to shop without dragging our bags around.
