We stayed four nights recently at Pensalda Guest House. There was plenty of parking out front on the property, and the host was really friendly and happy to help with requests. Breakfast had lots of choice, served in the dining room with a nice view across an impressive garden. Our room was clean, the bedding was comfortable and the ensuite spotless. Shops, beaches and the town centre were all within walking distance.

Everything was clearly labelled, and the host was happy to help whenever needed. Breakfast had a great selection in a spotless dining room. The bed was very comfy, and I've never seen a cleaner place, not a speck of dust anywhere. Not a single fault, definitely recommend 👌

Porth beach is a must, with amazing views. The location was perfect, with all the beaches a walk away and a bus stop just outside for Mevergissy, lost gardens of heligan ect. We stayed Monday to Saturday, and the WiFi was perfect. The room was spotless, the property looked so good and was very well cared for. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome.

The full cooked breakfast is worth paying for, it sets you up for the day. We also tried a beautiful Indian restaurant five minutes away, recommended by the owner's son. We had a really enjoyable two weeks here. The family are nice and it was very clean. It's a 25-minute walk into town, which suited us because Newquay can get rowdy with stag and hen weekends. It's a family home, so expect to hear the dogs bark when they're taken out in the morning. It wasn't a major problem, just something to know. No takeaways are allowed in the building, but, as mentioned, there are restaurants to eat in.

Karen's breakfast was top notch, with loads of choice for the family and a fry-up that really hit the spot. She and her son were welcoming and so helpful. Our room was immaculate, and the annexe was peaceful despite the guest house being by a busy road. We all slept really well. The garden was lovely and quiet, and my girls adored the dogs. Fantastic B&B, we'll definitely visit again.
