The location is perfect, right opposite Towan Beach and near the town centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a very useful mini fridge, and we wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else. Chris is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are fantastic, with vegetarian and vegan choices as well. Try Chris’s freshly made granola, yoghurt and fruit pots.

Chris and Alan made us feel very welcome, and both clearly care about the house. Chris even helped me find pillows that suited me. We stayed in room 7, which was spacious, spotless and nicely decorated with a mix of modern touches and traditional charm. There was plenty of storage and the bathroom was immaculate, with surprisingly good water pressure for an English guest house. Breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Chris makes delicious granola and was very accommodating, making sure everything was right for us. The bright, spacious breakfast room and gentle background music made for a pleasant start to the day. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from the beach and town centre. We loved the breathtaking view from our room and watching the sun set over the ocean. Free on-street parking was a big plus, and we’d recommend booking directly for the best value. Tregella Guest House is one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in, thanks to its warmth and all the thoughtful little touches. Thank you, Chris and Alan. We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve stayed here with family and friends several times over more than twelve years and have always had a good time. The owners are friendly and helpful, know the area well, and have offered good suggestions for places to go and things to do since our first visit. The rooms are comfortable, the location is amazing, and breakfast is great.

I found this place online because I wanted to be near Towan Beech. I rang with a question about the rooms, and within two minutes of chatting I knew we’d stay. The hospitality feels genuinely friendly and comes naturally. We had Room 6, a nice little Eoin with a small sower and a private remote toilet, all good! Breakfast was wonderful, with the usual choices freshly cooked. I’d also recommend the little Granola/Yogurt/Fruit pots, a tasty start before a day of adventures.
