The rooms were very quiet despite being near a main route into Northampton. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Toby Carvery is right next door for good food and drink, and there's a 24-hour service station about 50 yards away for essentials. Staff were happy to accept and hold food deliveries too. It's a fantastic spot, close to town with excellent road links only minutes away.

The rooms are run down and not very clean, and there was rubbish outside. This place needs a serious refit. I won't stay again.

Friendly staff, a roomy room, and a really comfortable bed for a great price. I'll book again.

I wasn't sure the towels were actually fresh because they were left on the towel rail or at the foot of the dresser. At other Travelodges I've stayed in, fresh towels are folded on the bed. This doesn't feel like a nice way to leave them, and it makes me wonder how I can tell they're clean.

The room was large and clean, the parking was great, and the pub was lovely. The woman at reception was fabulous. Our only problem was the lack of an inside lock. Our two-year-old kept trying to get out, so a high security catch would help. I'd stay again, but would need a lock.
