Hartford Hall, Northwich by Marston's Inns

That fillet steak was honestly one of the best meals we’ve had, cooked perfectly, even compared with some great restaurants we’ve been to. The whole two-night stay was fabulous, from the food and atmosphere to the room and staff. Our room was beautiful and the bed really comfortable. There was a small issue, but it was handled better than we expected. Matt and Ed deserve a special thank you, and Kameron was fantastic too. Everyone was attentive, helpful and friendly, which is rare to find across an entire team. Thanks to everyone at Hartford Hall. We’ll be back soon. Keep up the great work.

The food’s a real highlight here. I’ve enjoyed the Sunday roast and a lovely lamb hotpot, and the sticky toffee pudding is so good. There’s a good choice of drinks, with something for everyone, and the venue is clean with good music in the background. I’ve stayed at the hotel next door and often pop into the pub. Paul, Ed and Mia have all been lovely, and Paul and Ed always make me feel welcome and looked after. It’s clearly popular, and deservedly so. I highly recommend it.

We loved the hotel and pub. The rooms were spotless and lovely, the food was fabulous, and the staff were great. We’ll definitely come back for another trip.

We stopped here halfway through a walk, muddy boots and all, and were made welcome. The surroundings were lovely, and the staff were helpful. We had a fish finger sandwich with chips and salad, then coffee. Everything was really tasty and cooked well. Highly recommended.
