The waiting staff deserve a special mention. The girls worked hard, stayed cheerful, and were friendly and professional. They were attentive and easy to get hold of when we needed something. No wonder it was so busy. I recommend booking, though as just a couple we were lucky to get a table in the bar area. We were there for a meal with my partner, who had a voucher. It was a busy evening, but the atmosphere was lovely and pleasantly warm by the log burner where we sat. The food was very nicely cooked. My partner insisted on dessert, and I’m glad he did since there were two of his favourites. He loved the brownie. I had the coffee mouse, which was lovely, but the unusual sponge crumble topping wasn’t for me. I’d have preferred less of it and on the base, so I pushed it aside to get to the good bit. I’m looking forward to going back.

A hidden gem with amazing decor, delicious food and brilliant staff. We had drinks here at Christmas, then came back for a family meal the week in between. It was so nice, and the food was incredibly mouthwatering. Dogs are welcome in the bar. We’ll be back!

It was a busy Saturday night, so I’d suggest booking, as we did. The service suited me: they didn’t rush us, but didn’t leave us waiting for attention either. The food was great, with a good selection at reasonable prices. I hadn’t been here for ages, but came back with friends. There’s a great range of beers if you’re a Lacon's fan, since it’s a Lacon's pub.

The food was excellent and the service second to none. We’d heard good things, so my wife and I tried it for date night and weren’t disappointed. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back soon.

We went during Norfolk Restaurant Week in November and had a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely, and although our room was nearly full, it never got too loud. There were several vegetarian dishes to choose from, which I appreciated. The food was delicious and excellent value, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We’d happily visit again.
