Everything was clean and new, and the gifts for our dog were such a lovely touch. Kareena made check-in easy, and both she and Chloe were attentive throughout. Chloe went the extra mile for us. Fabulous stay, can’t fault it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff are what really make this place. Anna, Bev, Chloe and Bruno are the ones I’ve met so far, and they’ve all been kind, helpful and so human. They work incredibly hard and deserve a big bonus or something. Thanks for making my very long stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is modern and really clean, with a great gym. Rooms are spacious enough, housekeeping does a fantastic job, and breakfast is always spot on. It’s close enough for a short cab to Coventry or a train to Brum.

The room was lovely, with a great shower and a comfortable bed, and I slept really well. But breakfast was a poor start: the sausages tasted cheap and overly pink, the scrambled eggs were firm and almost chewy, though the bacon was OK. I also have to breathe in second-hand smoke whenever I go out to my vehicle, since smokers gather just outside the main door. Getting into the hotel means passing through that smoke, which isn’t healthy. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you smoke or like cheap produce.

There are lots of local shops and supermarkets within a five-minute walk. The town centre is busy, clean and being developed, with no empty shops, unlike the run-down centres you see in other parts of the country. It’s a very nice place to visit and stay, and Coventry is an 18-minute drive away. The hotel is right on the edge of the town centre. It has 24-hour reception, and at night you use a key card for entry, the lifts and your room. Rooms are very clean, with a large shower, safe, tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There’s a large TV and plenty of sockets by the bed, including USB and C charging. The breakfast lounge is modern and clean, and there’s a gym. First time staying here, but I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.
