Joseph and Maria are such a delightful couple. They’ve opened their home as a B&B and made staying there a real pleasure. The house was spotless, and it was easy to park off the street outside. Guests have one shared bathroom for the two rooms. Maria cooked a lovely full English breakfast. I didn’t want to leave, but hope to come back in a few months.

The room was lovely and very comfortable, and the place was spotless. We’d have liked an en suite, but the large shared bathroom was fully equipped with everything you could want, so it was fine for us. Maria gave us such a warm welcome and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We asked for breakfast at 7am, which is very early, and she was happy to accommodate us.

The house is spacious and welcoming, and I had a great night’s sleep. I was staying nearby for a family function. Breakfast was on the light side but still enjoyable, and I’d happily stay again. Kudos to Maria for running such a lovely place.

A lovely house run by a warm, friendly couple. The room was comfortable and had the basics for an overnight stay. Breakfast was flavoursome and gave me a good start to the day. I’d recommend it.

I stayed at the cedars for 14 months, from just after it opened, and Joseph and his wife made me feel welcome from the start. They treated guests like family throughout their stay. The place is clean and pleasant, good value, and the breakfast is excellent. I often have to stay in different places for long stretches, and I still haven’t found a friendlier, more welcoming B&B at such good value. Well done, Joseph, and good luck for the future.
