167 Tower Bridge Road is a private residential building, not a hotel. There’s no reception, and the contact number is a mobile; it also has no website, unlike a real four-star hotel. Short-term apartment rentals in the building, including AirBnB and Booking.com, are not permitted. If someone tells you to check in at this address, you’re being misled. People have arrived and had to go somewhere else. Legal action will be taken against anyone using the address improperly or in a misleading way.

The apartment ruined our day. The pictures don’t match the rooms at all, and it looks like they used photos of a different apartment to advertise this badly kept one. The toilet had no flush, the seat was dirty, and there was old food in the fridge and on the kitchen counter. The balcony was covered in bird poo and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The WiFi didn’t work, and neither did the emergency contact numbers. When I arrived, I messaged and tried calling the host for help, but he didn’t answer. After about 30 minutes, he sent a woman to bring me the keys. He still hasn’t replied or contacted me with even an apology. The host was awful.
