'Park House'

A great-value stopover for our long drive from N Scotland to S England, with easy access to the motorway. The road outside is busy and noisy, but the soundproofing works well. You can barely hear it in the lounge and kitchen with the TV on, and the bedroom at the back is much quieter. Inside, it was immaculately clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and 2 big TVs. There were loads of extras, including water and beer in the fridge, ice, unlimited tea and coffee, and lots of toiletries, even toothbrushes. Free parking is across the road. As good as it gets. The 1/5 review was clearly fake, so please disregard it.

The shower and toilet were good, and having a microwave, fridge and eating utensils was a big help. We found this on Airbnb as a stop on the way up to Scotland, and it suited us perfectly. It’s not far from the motorway, yet was quiet at night, so we got a good rest. If I’m in the area or passing through again, I’ll check whether it’s available.

My first Airbnb stay was an amazing experience. The flat was nicely set up, and Pamela and Janice were so lovely and welcoming. Thanks so much for your hospitality. We’d definitely stay again.

Pamela and Janice were amazing hosts, and the apartment really blew me away. It was clean, stylish and had everything we needed, including Netflix and WiFi, which was a nice bonus. My stay at Park House in Chorley was fantastic. Thank you for the hospitality, we’ll definitely book again soon.
