Skene House Hotels - Rosemount

The apartments were spacious, warm and cosy, with very comfortable beds and pillows. There were plenty of towels and toiletries, including shampoo, shower gel and liquid soap. Each bedroom had a hidden sink with hand soap and towels, as well as a hairdryer. The separate bathroom had a bath and an over bath shower. The small galley kitchen had a cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and there was tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets on arrival. Reception staff and even the gardener were friendly and helpful. It’s a relaxing place to stay, and I’d recommend it. The location is excellent for walking into Aberdeen, with bus stops outside and taxis available through reception. There are two small convenience stores nearby, and it wasn’t especially noisy for such a central spot. There’s gated parking and a slightly sheltered smoking area at the back.

The staff were kind, helpful and compassionate to my daughter and me. We had an issue with our rental car, and they went out of their way to help us. The room was really nice, with a full kitchenette, and the breakfast was fabulous: fruit, breads, eggs, bacon, deli meat, sausage and yogurt. Skene House was a wonderful experience, and I’d stay there again!

We had a lovely stay and couldn’t recommend it more. The apartments were beautifully presented and cleaned regularly. They remade the beds and restocked the milk in our fridge every day, and topped up the coffee, tea and other room supplies when needed. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo, not just those tiny hotel bottles. The staff were always happy to help with anything we asked. We really couldn’t fault it and would definitely stay again.

There’s a laundry room, but start your wash early because it gets busy in the evening. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and there’s dedicated parking. The staff also gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area.
