East Midlands and Birmingham airports and the National Exhibition Centre are just a 30-minute drive away. any original artefacts remain at this beautifully reconstructed village bakery, including a working mill wheel in the oak-beamed lounge bar. The hotel comprises a total of 40 guest rooms and is non-smoking throughout. Facilities on offer include a lobby, a restaurant, Internet access and parking for those arriving by car. The cosy en-suite rooms each include a shower, a bathtub, a telephone, daily housekeeping, a television and tea and coffee making facilities. A double bed, a radio, Internet access and an iron and ironing board also come as standard. The restaurant specialises in good, simple English food. The bar also serves delicious meals, together with traditional ales. By car: From the M42, turn off at Junction 11 and take the A444 towards Nuneaton to Sibson. The hotel is on the left-hand side.

Claire helped us from our first enquiry, sorting out exactly what we wanted for our wedding evening, and the whole event went perfectly. Every staff member gave us excellent service and did all they could to make the night special. The room was a good size for our group of up to 50, possibly more, and there’s a separate area for a disco. The buffet was amazing, and the prices were reasonable, with different packages to suit your needs. Claire and the team at The Millers have that old-fashioned customer-first attitude that seems to have disappeared from many shops and businesses. We had a perfect evening and will be back for family meals. I’d highly recommend The Millers for a meal, an overnight stay, a wedding or any other event. Thanks, Claire and everyone!

The breakfast was a real highlight. There’s a good menu, and the hot dishes were freshly cooked to order and served promptly and attentively. The ingredients were good quality and everything was nicely presented. The continental choices were good too, with fresh fruit, cereals, juices and fresh coffee. My room was compact and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The quiet location meant I slept well. All the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome during my three-day stay. The hotel has pleasant bar and restaurant areas, including a working water wheel, and secure parking. At a reasonable price, The Millers is a great option for visiting different parts of the West Midlands. Thanks to the team.

We had a lovely stay, but two things kept me from giving five stars. The breakfast was delicious, though the tea and coffee station was frustrating. The jugs were cumbersome, and we couldn’t tell what was in each one. The other issue was the dogs barking from 6:45 this morning. Two were yapping and another sounded bigger. It went on for about 45 minutes, until the woman in the next room shouted out of her window for them to be quiet. It didn’t help. I know the hotel has dog-friendly rooms, but I’d have expected the owners to at least try to settle them. Those dogs weren’t well behaved.

The dinner was spot on. We had three courses, every one as good as the last, and it was extremely well priced. Breakfast was amazing too, with plenty to eat, so we’d definitely come back. Our room was clean, nice and comfortable, with tea and coffee, though there wasn’t much sugar or milk or many teabags. After our evening meal, they gave us enough to last through the night and morning. The shower was the only room letdown: even on maximum heat, the water was only warm. We waited a few minutes at reception, but the chap who came was helpful and chatty. The staff were lovely. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Lovely place to stop for a drink, and the service was impressive for that time of year. The chef kindly offered our dogs a fresh chicken dinner.
