Passable for the price, with most of the basics covered. The rooms have beds, bathrooms, a TV, desk and chair, plus a kettle and the packets for tea and coffee. There are small bottles of body wash and shampoo and a little bar of soap in the bathroom. I didn’t sleep especially well because the beds weren’t very comfortable, though they did the job. In several rooms, there was quite a lot of grime along the tops of the windows. The bathroom was also pretty loud, probably because of a fan.

I paid in advance for an emergency room so my sister could get somewhere safe after domestic violence. She had no ID with her because her driving licence was at the home she shared with her abusive partner. I called the hotel, explained the situation and said I had booked and paid, but the woman insisted she wanted to see my sister’s driving licence and said she didn’t care about the circumstances. She refused to let her stay. Disgusting service.

We lived here for four months, but nobody ever fixed a severe leak. The beds were dirty and smelled appalling, the wires didn’t work properly, and the reception staff were very rude. The service was worse than usual. Why spend money here if they don’t even respect you?

I couldn’t sleep because kids in the room above me were banging around after midnight, and their parents seemed nowhere to be seen. I was on the third floor, had to change rooms, and I’m never staying here again. When I went to the local shops, I came back to find someone had been in my room. Reception staff had gone through my things, being nosy. I have them recorded, so next time I’ll call the police.
